But as the oasis offers refuge in the heat of a desert, peace is often found in the most unlikely of places. But amid all the usual chaos of my real life that inevitably met me at the door like a tsunami, I was able to hold on to a fragment of my Moroccan oasis - and that five-day stay has been enough to effect huge change.
